How do I install One Shot Fix?
Open Chrome or any Chromium-based browser, visit the Chrome Web Store, and search for 'One Shot Fix'. Click 'Add to Chrome' and confirm the installation. The extension will appear in your toolbar immediately.
Which browsers does One Shot Fix support?
One Shot Fix is built as a Chrome extension and works in Google Chrome and all Chromium-based browsers, including Microsoft Edge and Brave. It does not currently support Firefox or Safari.
Why is the extension not correcting my text?
First, confirm the extension is enabled by clicking the puzzle icon in your browser toolbar. Then refresh the page where you are typing and try selecting a short sentence before running a correction. If it still does not work, email us at oneshotfixai@gmail.com with details of what happened.
Does One Shot Fix rewrite my text?
No. One Shot Fix is a correction-first tool. It fixes grammar, spelling, punctuation, and clarity errors while keeping your original wording, tone, and meaning as close as possible. It does not generate new sentences or rephrase your writing from scratch.
Is One Shot Fix free to use?
Yes. One Shot Fix is free to install and use from the Chrome Web Store. There is no subscription or payment required to correct your prompts, emails, and messages.
Does One Shot Fix work inside ChatGPT?
Yes. You can use One Shot Fix to clean up your prompts before sending them to ChatGPT. It works in the ChatGPT text input and in most other browser-based text fields.
What data does One Shot Fix collect?
Please review the Privacy Policy for full details. As a general principle, One Shot Fix does not store your text or share it with third parties beyond what is needed to process the correction.
